So I haven't written one of these in a while, so I thought I would give everyone a heads up!

NYCC is a few months behind me now, and despite being easily the worst convention I've ever been to in terms of actually having to be there, professionally it was easily the best.  Many thanks to Anthony Spay at Zenoscope and Frank Mastromauro at Aspen for the great reviews.  Pretty much, everyone I spoke to told me I had about a year's worth of development to do before I could get serious professional work, which is totally fine to me.  Breaking into comics at 25?  Yeah, I can do that.

Also, I just hit 5,000 views on the page, which is awesome.  It took me 6 years to get to 3,000 and eight months to get 2,000 more.  Thank you to everyone who watches me, and to everyone who stopped in for a peek!

Wow, even more new stuff to post both today and yesterday!  The Saturday crits I've been doing with my dad have really been keeping me focussed and I think the work is definitely stepping up.  There will be new stuff next Saturday, hopefully the long-gestating sculpting work I've been doing!

Sorry for the dearth of updates, between a new day job and PAX east a few weekends ago, not to mention some tough family stuff, it's been tough to get down to business.  However, I have finally gotten some pages I did to show off at New York Comic Con posted for your viewing pleasure.  Check them out and let me know what you think!

Hey guys,

Through the wonderful magic of technology, I wasn't able to get the new stuff up this past Saturday, so to make up for it, both this coming Saturday and the next one will have new stuff to show off. (The ol' Dave Sim method)  Anyway, I have the lineart for an upcoming colored illustration up, check it out!

Starting today, and continuing on every other week, I will have regular postings on new stuff.  I'm primarily focussing on digital illustrations, but I am also trying to get the hang of sculpting, and I will have an update on that next time (hopefully).  In the mean time, let me know what you think of the new stuff!  Suggestions and critiques are always welcome!
